Graduated in the year 1964 from UET, Lahore in Civil Engineering. Served in HARZA Engineering Company International for 5 years in the field of Dam Design and Construction. Joined Military Engineering Services in May 1969 and served at various field and staff appointments throughout Pakistan. Also served for 3 years in Saudi Arabia on secondment.


Retired as Chief Engineer in March 2001 as Director Inspection and Evaluation to E-In-C Branch GHQ, Rawalpindi. Since then associated with Gammon Pakistan Limited and at present serving as Executive Director (Technical).Previously served with IEP Islamabad as Vice-Chairman (Civil).
